Creatures Of Habit

We all have our comfort zones...we are creatures of habit. As long as we have control over our daily activities..we are happy and content. Stability is what we strive for. Change is the enemy! Especially for those who are deeply entrenched in their ways.

They say that no one really knows himself until his world is shaken and he is forced to deal with his inner self. One would think that experience in life would help one be prepared to deal with a crises of indecision or even of character..but this is not always the case. Let me explain.

Many young ones who have been raised in a caring and nurturing environment and have developed basic social skills and are guided by sound moral principles can successfully  overcome any crises. They will not experience a moral meltdown.. instead they will evaluate the situation..consider the pros and cons.. and then plug in the right formula based on the dependable guiding principles they have learned...So its not a question of life experience ..but a question of applying sound principles to any situation in life. This is not rocket science!

So the question is..how will we react when a moral crises demands that we change our ways?

Dig deep and and remember what you learned in Kindergarden!
