Many Doors

Have you ever had a second thought moment ? Like many of us...you probably have!..You see..sometimes we find ourselves in situations where we're not sure what to do or what outcome our decisions might bring.

It may be a family situation we are struggling with, or something that has to do with our job or career..We might be dealing with a relationship that has gone sour and is on the verge of collapse. Maybe you are starting a new life with someone you love and you want to be certain your choices will contribute to the nourishment and growth of that union.

Whatever situations or issues we face ..we want to make the RIGHT decisions...correct ? So here is the million dollar question....How can I be sure that my decisions will ultimately be beneficial to me and my loved ones ?

Here are a five (5) guidelines that have helped me: (I consider myself an expert in this field ..I graduated from the school of HARD KNOCKS! ..uhm I learned the hard way)

1: First gather all the pertinent information you can..(you never want to settle with a decision based on little or incomplete information)

2: Now analyze the GOOD the BAD and the UGLY...by this I mean..try to foresee the consequences of each of your options (decisions)..and then calculate or weigh the benefits or pitfalls of each decision .

3: Don't make the final decision on your own ..if you have a mate consult with him/her about the pros and cons..remember two heads (or more) are better than one.

4: Now follow through with your final decision and measure the success of your decision. You might have to revisit your criteria and make some tweaks or adjustments .

5: The foundation or motivating factor of every decision should be a genuine love and concern for those involved in the final outcome of your decision...and not on self centered egotistical pursuits.
But remember this... no decision is carved in stone...you could always scrap the whole enchilada and start from scratch with another option ..just remember its the end result that matters . What works for you in this situation may not work in a totally different one..so don't give up ..it's all part of learning from our mistakes..and applying that wisdom to the next round of decisions.

So as we face the daily challenges of this ever increasing difficult world..may all of our Doors open up...to new opportunities to grow and learn!

Just a little side note: I will be posting a photo message every day..so keep an eye out for "Every Image Has A Message"
Let me know what you all think so that I can continue with this project ( we all need encouragement )
Thanks
