Blast To The Past... Part 1

You are about to be transported back in time. I will be posting images of me and my family that will take you back a few years. Take for example the image below.Yes believe it or not that is me and my wife Ada back in the day !! This image was taken around 1979 at one of my favorite four wheeling spot's..Asuza Canyon in the San Gabriel Mountains. Ada and me did a lot of four wheeling at different locations but this was one of my favorites because of the creeks, rivers,rugged terrain and the beautiful scenery. 

The image on the left is me with my Jeep doing what I liked best ..enjoying the outdoors and four wheeling ! Wow look at me !! I am the one on the left..this was me in my rebellious and substance abuse phase !! I grew up in the sixties.."tune in,drop out,turn on".. and it took me a long time to shake the influence it had on me.

To this day i really enjoy going off the beaten path and making my own trail..the photo top left  is  one of our trips to the Pacific Coast ..the famous Pismo Beach; with it's beach access and exciting sand dune's. If you are ever in the area and enjoy driving on the beach ( there is a $5.00 access fee ) or tackling the dune's with your off road toys.. this is the place for you. !! Notice the photos below !! Thats me and Ada on the same beach about 27 years apart !!

Thats me below taking a break and the beautiful Lake Tahoe in the background. This photo was taken on one of my many trips up and down California ..I really enjoy this area in northern California because of its crystal clear lakes,lush forest,and scenic roads !! The year was 1977. This was another one of my passions !! touring California on my motorcycle..
